18 holes, fairly long, tight fairways, double chains, packed stone tee pads. Depending on time of year, watch out for poison ivy and horse flies. GOOD course. I have the original 9 hole tee signs (painted hole layouts) somewhere.
Killen's Pond Disc Golf Course Layout
14 miles south of Dover on Rt. 13 to Felton traffic light and turn left the park is down the road past the school on the right.
1) 286ft. Over a line of trees or left to right around them to the basket in a small field.
2) 286ft. Open fairway then into trees going right to left.
3) 211ft. This hole is like a horseshoe, the tee being on the left side.
4) 263ft. Tight straight fairway then leading right to left in a small alcove where the basket is.
5) 371ft. Long straight fairway then going left to right across small dirt road then into small clearing under a large tree where the basket resides.
6) 345ft. Open fairway leading to hole which is left to right under some trees.
7) 198ft. Small left to right turn through a few trees to basket in a small clearing.
8) 419ft. Longish hole with elevated tee with preferred flight path going over saplings the same height as the tee to basket in an open field.
9) 121ft. Tee is very tight up against a small stand of trees which you have to go over to reach the basket which is underneath a large tree on the opposite side.
10) 408ft. Open fairway yeilding to a sharp right to left turn near the end where the basket is in a diminutive clearing.
11) 212ft. Tight, low fairway going right to left to basket in small alcove.
12) 244ft. Again tight fairway going right to left to basket.
13) 248ft. Slightly uphill hole through varies trees.
14) 232ft. Nice straight shot through tight fairway.
15) 220ft. Tee is at one end of planted row of pine trees with basket at other end.
16) 283ft. Tee is at one end of planted row of pine trees with basket beyond and to the right.
17) 450ft. Long an open fairway leading to basket in open field.
18) 239ft. Right to left shot around a stand of trees.
