Pennsylvania Disc Golf Courses
(Description by Geoff Falen)
Older course: is 18 holes, tight and wooded, minor elevation changes and a creek and a lake that come into play on a few holes. Tee boxes are dirt and packed gravel, wooden tee signs fairly obscured by age and weather. It's a nice place to play.
Older French Creek Course Layout See the hole stats below.
Newest course: is 18 holes, 9 are baskets, 9 are object. It's longer than the old one, with more blind shots, and more elevation changes. It's also much more frustrating to play because it's like playing through the middle of a forest most of the time. Spotters are needed on holes 12, 13, 14, 15. Tees are gravel or packed earth with logs. I'd rate the course as Fair, since it only has 9 baskets (so far), and is a royal pain to play because there are few lanes to shoot through. It has a lot of potential, though.
Rt 422 north from Philly, left onto Rt 82, second light left .25 mile, right on Rt 345, park enterance is 8 miles on the right.
